Terms of use
Last updated 14 October 2026
1. About these terms
TendersNearMe is provided by Gary Callaway, a sole trader trading as TendersNearMe, 61 Harcourt Gardens, Bath, BA1 4DL ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms. The service is for businesses, not consumers.
2. What TendersNearMe does
We gather public-sector tender and contract award notices from official UK sources, match them to the business profile you give us, send alerts, help you track opportunities and help you prepare bids. We don't publish tenders, run procurements or submit bids for you.
3. No guarantees
Notices come from third-party official sources and may be incomplete, late, changed or withdrawn. We don't promise to show every opportunity. Fit scores, warnings, bid packs and draft answers are produced automatically, can contain mistakes and are for guidance only. The buyer's notice and documents are always the final word. You're responsible for checking eligibility, deadlines and requirements and for everything you submit. We can't guarantee that you'll qualify for or win any contract.
4. Your account
Keep your password safe and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. The account owner is responsible for the people they invite.
5. Plans, trial and payment
New accounts get Professional free for 30 days, then move to the Free plan unless a paid plan is chosen. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance by card through Stripe, with no minimum term. If you choose a plan during your free trial, your first payment is taken when the trial ends. You can change plan or cancel at any time from Settings; when you cancel, your plan runs until the end of the period you've paid for and isn't refunded for part-months. If a payment fails we'll try again, and your account may move to the Free plan if it isn't paid. Promo codes apply only as described when issued and can't be exchanged for cash. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The monthly allowances (bid packs, answer drafts, text messages, team members) are shown on the pricing page and in your account.
6. Using the service fairly
Don't try to copy the database in bulk, resell access, break security, overload the service or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
6a. Partner finder and text alerts
The partner finder only introduces businesses to each other. We don't check, vouch for or take part in any arrangement you make with another member, and any agreement is between you and them. Don't send unsolicited marketing through it. Text alerts are a convenience and may be delayed or fail to arrive — always check deadlines on the official notice.
7. Your content
You own what you put into TendersNearMe — profile details, notes, library entries and uploaded documents. You give us permission to use it only to provide the service to you. Only upload documents you're entitled to use.
8. Public sector information
Notice data contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. TendersNearMe is not affiliated with or endorsed by the UK Government.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't legally be limited. Otherwise, we are not liable for loss of profits, contracts, business or opportunity, or for indirect losses, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
10. Changes and ending
We may update the service and these terms; we'll email you about significant changes. You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may end the service with 30 days' notice.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
